Meet The Founder
I’m Antonio San Jose, founder of Decipher Consulting. I’ve worked in recruitment for over 11 years and over that time I’ve developed extensive experience across professional and financial services markets. Today, Decipher Consulting specialises in the insolvency, restructuring and wider corporate advisory space, supporting firms and professionals across the UK, Europe and the United States.
Decipher was created because I believed specialist markets deserved a more focused and relationship-led approach. In advisory and restructuring, the best outcomes rarely come from high-volume processes, they come from understanding the detail behind a hire, engaging the market thoughtfully, and making introductions that genuinely fit both technically and culturally. My work is built on long-term relationships, discretion and careful market engagement, so clients and candidates can make confident decisions with the right information.
As a founder-led business, I work directly with clients and candidates throughout the process, ensuring consistency, accountability and clear communication from first conversation to completion. Away from my professional life, I train extensively in martial arts and I’m currently working towards obtaining my private pilot’s licence, because a “quiet life” was never really the plan! When I’m not doing either of those, I’m proudly keeping up with life as a new father to my much-loved son, Caspian!
